Wakfu Content Update 1.2 Hotfix 4 Deployment

Wakfu will be deploying a fourth hotfix to implement Month Zinit: chapter 2 and resolve a number of issues that were reported within WAKFU Content Update 1.2. Here is a list of the changes that will be made.

Territories
Mount Zinit Chapter 2 opens to all players (Premium Members AND Free Members). Discover all the features and more in the official “Mount Zinit – Chapter 2 Dev Blog”.

Classes
Rogue
Runaway will no longer trigger with 100% chance, starting at level 1.

Enutrof
Heals applied by the Enutrof after transforming into a Drhellzerker will now work properly.

Pandawa
The floating barrel counter will now follow the barrel when carried by a Pandawa.

Guilds

*Players will now continue to provide Guild XP after reaching the current level cap of 105.
*Editing a Guild Rank will now take immediate effect.
*The Group Icon will now no longer disappears when making modifications to the guild.

Items
*Mea Culpa Potion will now correctly apply the craft bonus.
*Subscription Token will now be used correctly in the Astrub machines.
*Makabras will continue to receive XP even after the bearer reaches level 105.
*Two-Handed Makabras will now no longer suffer the 50% XP limitation.

Miscellaneous
*Clan Member Map Tokens will now be placed correctly when oppening the world map outside of the Clan Member’s territory.
*It will now no longer be possible to reappear in a dungeon after a resurrection or disconnection.
*Only the nation’s custom haven bag appearances will now be available on nations’ marketplace.

Added Changes (05/15):
*Mount Zinit Quests are now displayed correctly in the Quest Book.
*Security has been improved to prevent issues such as for example: item duplication.

A new class is surfacing in Dofus


The facts revealed the following: in the middle of the night, as Maysial 9th was fading into the morning of Maysial 10. At approximately 3:33 am, Booper (a sailor of stout figure, but no fainting flounder) was loading up his boat for a day of fishing. Then, things got odd.

“The atmosphere was strange, there was no wind. The sea was like a mirror, flat, smooth, almost no waves. Then, I heard a rustle. I turned around, but saw nothing. Then, I heard a splash in the water, like the sound of a Snapper hunting a Moskito/ But that wasn’t the source.”

The unnerved sailor went on to say that he had seen the unthinkable: humanoid silhouettes emerging from the water. Silently they surfaced, dressed so strangely that he could not be certain if they were men or machines… all he knows is that one of them spotted him and flashed him a stare so hard and cold that his heart nearly stopped on the spot. And then, overcome by the memory, Blooper swooned dead away, leaving the puzzled militia to try to make sense of his story.

WAKFU: Mount Zinit Chapter 2

First great novelty: you can form a group to travel all over this new stage of the adventure with your friends. Damp caves, tortuous labyrinths, dark tunnels, strange creatures.

You would not be too many to experience it.Once you gathered up (or alone, if you feel reckless), your journey starts in the Melancholy Falls where you will have to face two new monster families: the Stalagmotes and the Schnecks (see paragraph “Monsters”).

What re the Zinit Stalagmotes? Imagine that stalactites and stalagmites can come to life with a capricious nature. Beware of the Stalagmotes. After all, they were born from lava.

The Schnecks are strange and really ugly creatures whose body is shaped to live in the dark. Do not rely on their puny and hairless aspect. In the bowers of Mount Zinit, no one can hear you scream. Except them.

Careful! These monsters are aggressive and could attack you when you least expect it.

Besides these dangerous fights, you will also have pleasant encounters. But the maze you will have to go through will be as those who inhabit them: cold and slimy. You will soon miss the green fields of Astrub.

Since the content update from May 2nd, access to Mount Zinit has been made easier. Not only did Hullcatz become less greedy to take you on their boat, we also added Cannons on all trade bridges that should allow you to reach each beginning of chapter that you previously unlocked. As for Ullu, in Astrub as on Zinit, he will allow you to leave the mount and come back whenever you want.

That’s right; we didn’t leave you any excuse not to take on this adventure.

DOFUS Professions – Jeweller

Jeweller is one profession that will empty your pockets and eat up your time, but if the glint of diamonds and the touch of precious metals is in your blood, then you’ll find it hard to resist. With a few bits of wood and some metal, you’ll soon be well on the way to creating jewels that are worth their weight in gold.

But the resources you need will cost you dearly as many of your creations will require rare metals and little-known woods. You’ll also need to remember that the jewel market is very active – so don’t let your creations fall between the cracks. Think carefully about what jewels are in demand to make sure that your work is worth it. Jewellers can also craft items that can be exchanged for characteristic scrolls, such as the Nimbly Ring and the

Lumberjack Amulet, and these are a good way to gain experience in your profession while making sure you use up your stock.

Although it’s not obligatory, it can be a great help to have trained in a harvesting profession, such as a Lumberjack or a miner, if you intend to become a top notch jeweller.

DOFUS Treechnid Forest

Usually, when adventurer enters a forest, he is afraid to meet the formidable creatures it contains. But when an adventurer enters the Treechnid Forest, there’re not only Boowolves to be afraid of, but also the trees. The lush forest is indeed filled with Treechnids renowned for being particularly aggressive, especially when a humanoid stands in their way.

You might meet some large insects, such as Arachnees or Moskitos, but they’ll seem pretty innocuous when you’ve tackled those living trees.

Long before the evolution of human beings and their villages, Amakna was an area rich in vegetation. Humans, mostly from the sea and mountains, found the forests animated and hostile. It took the disappearance of many adventurers before it was understood that this forest contained a terrible secret: living trees, which were named Treechnids. These extraordinary trees systematically attacked anyone who approached them. Drawing their power from the heart of the forest, the Treechnids were able to summon Arachnees and regenerate during combat. However, using fire, humans managed to end their revolt.

From then on, with each new building, the invaders lit torches to burn the plots of land they needed. Gradually, the Treechnids disappeared.

However, north-west of Amakna, part of the forest remained intact. Neither house nor axe has been able to overcome it. Legends tell that, maintaining a stubborn hatred against new Amaknan population, the Treechnids are preparing their revenge.

Some also say that the Soft Oak is within this forest, the ancient and venerable custodian of all plants. According to rumour, the Soft Oak, the heart and conscience of the forest, was behind the arrival of the Treechnids and other evil spells in Amakna. Many adventurers, often more attracted by treasure than through knowledge, attempted to learn more about this legendary tree. But very few came back.

The few survivors differing versions of events had very little credibility with the authorities. However, when large groups of men disappeared, the former put the disappearances down to an increase in Treechnids.

But with men having long since sworn to reduce to dark forest to ashes, the mystery remains unsolved.

DOFUS Professions – Hunter

There are no less than 22 different professions in DOFUS. You can master up to 3 of them at a time, and then specialise in Smithmaging!

These professions have been divided into two main categories: harvesting and crafting. The first group consists of collecting ingredients: harvesting crops, chopping wood, collecting ores The second group will allow you to combine these resources to create different items and equipment. Hats, boots, consumables, breeding items: artisans can create all sorts of things which adventurers just can’t live without! We will talk about the “Hunter” profession below.

This is one profession that will have you working hard for your money, but the rewards are worth it in the end, you’ll see. The meats you gather will be used mostly by butchers as they prepare recipes for adventurers, but they can be fed to pets. There are even some rare meats out there to be found that will sell for big money to expert butchers. And since there aren’t too many hunters out there, you’ll be left alone as you wander the plains of the world, waiting silently for your lucrative prey.

On the other hand, collecting resources as a hunter is not as straightforward as it is in other professions – you have to fight animals to get their meat, and as everyone knows, you could always walk out of a battle with empty hands. On top of this, hunting in itself won’t gain you any profession experience. To do this, you’ll have to prepare your meat in a workshop.

On the other hand, even if you don’t gain any experience in your profession when you beat opponents, you’ll gain plenty of general experience (XP), just as you would in ordinary combat.So the big advantage of becoming a hunter is that you can practice your profession without leaving your combat activity fall by the wayside.

Wakfu- The Rogue coming

The Rogues are heading for the World of Twelve on May 2nd. Read on to find out more about their amazing versatility in combat.

The Rogues are WAKFU’s most feared bandits, and for good reason: they’re so versatile. Pistols, bombs, blades and gadgets are the main components of their devastating arsenal, and they won’t hesitate to use each and every one of them to achieve their nefarious goals!

As you’ll soon find out, they have kept their unique system of bombs, but their gameplay has changed, and their class spells have been overhauled. Each elemental branch has its own theme, and they have tried to make them more coherent.

BombsA Rogue’s bombs have several unique features: they don’t block movement or line of sight, and they have charges. When a bomb no longer has any charge, it will explode. But bombs can also be thrown directly at a target, in which case they will explode immediately, just like grenades.

You can increase a bomb’s charge using the fire spell “Barbed Fire”, but you can also decrease it using the detonator, or by simply throwing or attacking the bomb itself.

An exploding bomb will trigger all other bombs present in its area of effect.Can you imagine the devastation you could wreak with a few well-placed bombs?

The earth rogueThe Earth branch is based on the firing of pistols. Each pistol shot is different, be that in its range, area of effect, or cost in points, making this Rogue particularly versatile.

Machine Gun: an unpretentious burst that will allow you to finish off (or make a hole in!) your target at low cost.

Piercing Shot: particularly effective against strong targets, this spell ignores a target’s resistances. Continue reading

As my good Brakmarian friend Emsi Satourne says, “No pain, no game!” Brakmar is the land of blacksmiths and abundant minerals. Don’t its majestic volcano, fiery-colored flora, and flesh-eating monsters just give you goose bumps all over and make your hairs stand on end? No other archipelago in the World of Twelve compares to Brakmar. Its blazing coat of arms proudly dons a magnificent sword, ornate with dragon wings, so it’s no surprise that you’ll be thrown straight into the fire. Get ready to turn up the heat!

PROFESSIONS
Brakmar’s specialties are mining and kama minting. You’ll therefore find more machines dedicated to these professions than you will elsewhere. You can find out where the best veins of ore are by talking to Master Barney at the Brakmar Headquarters, Jonk Wincey in Brakmar Village, or Moe Kneetorks on the Sidimote Moors.

Weapons masters are also pretty important in Brakmar. They say that the best blacksmiths in the World of Twelve learnt their trade in Brakmar, in the grandest forge around: the Sidimote volcano furnace! If you don’t believe it, just go and ask Stumpy Jack on Weapons Bridge!
